Weather in Taupo, New Zealand?

I have an android phone and want to add Taupo to the locations for the Google weather widget on the main screen.





Taupo isn't listed but places such as Hamilton, Auckland, Northshore, Napier-Hastings etc etc are.





Does anyone know which of ALL the options would give the best indication of the weather in Taupo.

I seriously don't know why taupo isn't included on the list, just double check but otherwise hamilton is the closest|||Rotorua would be the closest if your app lists that one. Taupo is much much higher than Hamilton so it would not give an accurate reading.Auckland is too far away and coastal as is Napier/Hastings, Tauranga and Whakatane. If you can't get Rotorua then you are unlikely to get anywhere near it at all so I wouldn't bother.|||of the few you have mentioned i would say that Hamilton would have the closet weather to Taupo. However, Taupo would be colder than Hamilton, because of the lake. Take off a couple of degrees just to be sure|||Try Rotorua or Tokoroa or even Turangi. Then again it all could do with the predictions of Mr Ring who I believe is from Taupo?|||The nearest city that is listed.
