I am doing a project on the weather (and no I cannot change the subject that I'm doing) and I can't find anything at all on this subject.

How much internet does HTC sense weather updates use?
Im thinking of getting a htc with sense on it like the sensation, with a contract that offers 500mb of internet. But i was wondering how much internet does the htc weather update app thingy use and things like using gps and google maps use? Will 500 mb be enough? Nowadays, there are so many apps {Google, Yahoo, MSN} yet I'd like to know if there are any for essential inputs like Daily Weather Prediction, Traffic Hold Ups, Travel Restrictions %26amp; Banned Goods|||Depends what platform you are using. If you have an iPhone or iPod touch, it comes built in. There are apps for any android phone that you can download from android app market. If you have Nokia, search the ovi store. Anything else, try googling your phone's name and then weather app afterwards. Good luck.

Its just whenever i look up something on google, and click the link to go to that websit i was looking for, it redirects me to stuff like "find florists in your location" when im looking up thinks like movies on imdb or when i was looking up the weather, it brought to this weird cooking website? Why is it doing this, is google having glitches or is my computer just messed up?|||Google is fine. You may have some malware on your system. If you have any anti-virus / malware security software I would run it and do a full system scan. Then clear out your browser history / cache %26amp; temp Internet files. How do i get the google toolbar on my desktop?
I just bought a new laptop, and my friend did at the same time. On her laptop, there is this google toolbar thing that you can use to have a picture slideshow going, post notes to yourself, or check the weather. Wthat happened to the weather on my desktop?
When I got my Dell Inspiron 1525 laptop it had the weather %26amp; headlines %26amp; a picture on the desktop in the upper right hand corner %26amp; a google seach in the bottom right hand corner. I tried to remove the picture, but everything went away how can I get it back?|||You might need to check that it starts up when you fire up the computer

Scroll down the list and find the program that starts the weather. check it if it is not already.
Restart your computer.

Other than major disasters, what other things does weather do to affect our daily lives?
I am writing a speech on weather, and I need a lot of information on how weather affects our DAILY lives. NOT natural disasters. I'm having trouble finding enough info on Google. Can anyone help? 5) Overall, sunny weather makes most people happy.

What are some FABULOUS warm weather recipes?
I've been making alot of stews and casseroles lately to get us thru the winter. Now that the weather is warming up, I need lighter ideas. I know tons of sides (salads, slaws, etc.), but what are some nice light entrees to accompany? On google, I see alot of fish but I am CLUELESS when it comes to seafood. If you don't wanna spell out recipes, (i don't blame you) maybe just shout out a dish name and I can find the recipe online. Make 1 lb of pasta (I suggest rotini) and when done, combine tomato mixture with pasta. Serve with freshly grated mozzerella cheese on top :)|||chicken salad, pasta salads with a bit of meat make a great main course, of course the mandatory burgers and dogs, ribs of any kind. I guess I'm not much help as my cooking changes very little with the seasons as I cook 3 meals a day 7 days a week. I need to get out more!|||range of pasta salads - can find a recipe anywhere for that. i personally love stir frys as the hit the spot but arent that heavy to eat. cant go wrong with a jacket potatoe to serve those salads and slaws with.|||quinoa/rice with salad and tofu.

How to change the yahoo search engine back to the google search engine?
so my friend told me i should download that thing called gimp and when i did it like messed up my computer! so now when i open firefox the search engine is yahoo when i used to have google. and there's a toolbar that has like yahoo search and mail and the weather and ebay things. its so annoying i just want what i had before; the google search engine. someone pleassee help meee(: thank you.|||Step 1) Go to firefox addons.

In the Uk the weather reports are always wrong! I used to use an app on google, where I could get a live?
satelite image of my home town! and the surrounding area so I could see how thick the cloud was for myself - it was live - so on a sunny day you could see the town and on a cloudy day you couldnt!

When I type in something into Google, such as weather, I will try to click on the links to the results it gives me but instead of taking me to, say, weather.com, it will take me to a COMPLETELY unrelated page, like yellow pages or some generic search engine. Why can I not see Machapechu on Google Earth when the weather is so clear around the area.?
They are usually really old. Find someplace familiar where a new building has gone up to see if it is the maps. usually it is not there because the maps are old.|||those maps are not real time, they were taken a while ago.|||Try going to weather.com type in your ZIP Code or city, then look on the bottom click: Click to Interact. It's better than Google Earth. Google Earth is slower, and updated everyday. The one on Weather is faster.. and more precise, but it's only updated each 12 hours a day.|||The maps can be as old as 3 years. They only update them once a year, and they only get rid of the images that are older than 3 years.|||Try spelling it correctly. It's "Machu Picchu!" And this question belongs in "Geography," not "Geology!"

Schools start beginning of September, so you won't see much Turkish tourists with kids. So places may be not as crowded as in high season. But still a lot of foreign tourists. Prices will be cheaper.
Izmir is a big city close to Kusadasi. You can check the weather for Izmir and that will give you an idea.|||It will be still hot in September, I was there last year in September and it was still over 90F.

Weather Report, BBC or GOOGLE?
I was looking at the weather report for the rest of the week and surprisingly BBC weather shows heavy rains for the next 4-5 days while on google it is all clear and dry and very hot.
Which should i trust? although looking at the current sky i feel like google is trustable. What is a black hole as it relates to weather?
My mom was in a medical helicopter that crashed (N417AE, if you are interested). They say the cause of the accident was their encounter with a 'black hole' in the weather. A quick Google reveals no such term as it relates to weather. Could someone perhaps enlighten me?|||A black hole in weather is when the air in a certain section of the atmosphere where there is no flow of air or wind, its like a dead space in the atmosphere. How often is the weather updated on Google Earth?
google earth isnt updated very often, as you can tell. but i think the weather is changed every day. If you type "weather cleveland oh" in google why does it display in Celsius not fahrenheit. Can you change it?

Where do Google get their weather forecasts from? They show wonderful sunshine for where we live in UK but the reality is gloom and rain!|||The Yahoo offices in London have a bit of seaweed nailed to the wall outside of the regional director's window. When the seaweed is wet, he knows it's raining. When the seaweed is dry, it's fine. If he can't see it, it's foggy - or the Weather Channel has nicked it.|||Got to be London hasn't it?
All national weather presenters say things like "we can expect", when they really mean "in London it will be. All people in London seem to think the country drops into a sharp 90 degree angle into the sea after Watford, and Scotland is a separate island. Those of us in between, well, we don't exist!! Hence they ignore the giant rain clouds on the north of the map, and just point to London saying, here in the UK we can expect....etc, etc, blah.
Scotland can be under seven foot of snow, the Lake district can be flooded to the point of madness, York can be underwater, but today it is mainly dry apparently!

Why is the predicted high temp for my area shown 11 degrees different at Yahoo weather and Google weather?
I entered city and state exactly the same, and narrowed the area as much as possible. I could understand it being 2 o3 degrees different, but 11 degrees? It's like that frequently. What's up with that?|||I don't know the answer of your question. I googled but I couldn't find any clear answer for you. Sorry! Hope others can help you.|||It's because Google might use a different source of weather information than Yahoo does. Personally I would use weather.gov for weather forecasts.
Why is there an 6-8 degree difference in the temperature between Yahoo weather and Google weather?
I'm talking about the present temperature listed and the predicted high. I've been very careful to enter the exact same location at both sites. You can watch 5 different channels and get something different.
