I'm hiking Machu Picchu in 2 weeks- what is the weather there/Cuzco?

I did google weather in Cuzco right now and it says about 65 during the day and 40 at night. But that is the city...anyone know the temp for the actual Machu Picchu mountain I will be hiking? I'm terrified that I'm going to be camping in 20 degree nights and freezing!!|||The territories of Cusco feel the influence of the macro-climate created by great masses of air coming in from the southern forest or off the highlands and sometimes even from the distant region of Patagonia.

The winds from the southern forest bring masses of humid air. Whilst the winds which come from the Peruvian or Bolivian Highlands are colder and dryer, as are those that come from Patagonia.

On the other hand, the local winds which enter the valleys and plains of Cusco serve to distribute warmth and humidity during the day.

There are two climatic periods: the rainy season, from November until March and the dry period, from April until October.

There are two main seasons in Peru: the rainy season and the the dry season. The rainy season runs between October and April, with the dry season usually running between May and September. Temperatures during the dry season run from around 12 C (50 F) at night to the mid 30s C (upper 80s F) during the day. Given its exposed location, it can get quite hot in Machu Picchu, and at its elevation, the sun is strong -- do not forget your sunscreen!

The dry season is the best time to travel to Machu Picchu -- and not surprisingly, coincides with the high season. To avoid the crowds, consider traveling in late April, May, June, or early October. Crowds are the heaviest during July and August.|||Make sure to be prepare for the altitude. Enjoy!
