I need data of temperatures and/or weather conditions of the late 1940s and 1950s. Actual weather reports, graphs, tables... anything.
I've tried google numerous times and nothing is coming up.|||A location would be very helpful. Lacking that, your best option will be to try going through the National Climatic Data Center: http://www.ncdc.noaa.gov/oa/mpp/freedata鈥?/a>|||The first poster is right...the NCDC is your first bet. If you cannot find what you are looking for there, visit your local National Weather Service office's website and they may have the data for your area online there (my NWS in San Diego, CA does).
If that doesn't work, shoot an email to one of your local NWS meteorologists. They are always more than happy to look up ANY information for you. They LOVE talking weather!
