Other than major disasters, what other things does weather do to affect our daily lives?

I am writing a speech on weather, and I need a lot of information on how weather affects our DAILY lives. NOT natural disasters. I'm having trouble finding enough info on Google. Can anyone help? I appreciate any help!|||1) Rain provides hydration of crops that farmers grow. These crops feed the US and the rest of the world.

2) Sun allows plants to grow. Plants use up carbon dioxide and release oxygen that we breath, so they're very good for the environment.

3) Sun heats the beaches... so that we can swim in them.

4) Weather influences what you wear. This can also affect clothing manufacturers and the money they make off of you. Spending money also circulates money, which helps the economy.

5) Overall, sunny weather makes most people happy.

That's all I can think of.|||Glad I could help :)

|||It holds up travel. Dark, Cold weather in the winter causes depression in many people known as Seasonal Affective Disorder which they experience on a daily basis depending on the weather...affects the clothes we can wear, the places we can go, the things we can do or eat or drink...makes us sick...|||Well, it determines what you wear, and it determines weather you will do something inside or outside, or it can determine if you go on a trip or not, if you think about it then it affects anything that involves going outside.|||The rain makes us sleepy and depressed and the sun makes us smile and happy! If you think about it, it's because the brighter something is, the happier we are, like when the sun is nice and bright!
