How to change the yahoo search engine back to the google search engine?

so my friend told me i should download that thing called gimp and when i did it like messed up my computer! so now when i open firefox the search engine is yahoo when i used to have google. and there's a toolbar that has like yahoo search and mail and the weather and ebay things. its so annoying i just want what i had before; the google search engine. someone pleassee help meee(: thank you.|||Step 1) Go to firefox addons.

Step 2) Uninstall it.

But personally, Google chrome browser is so much more faster and cleaner than any other one. I will never go back to Internet, Safari, Firefox or anything else. I love Google Chrome. And it's automatically google as your search engine!|||go to gogoogle.com

I think that will fix it!|||What is the point of having a search engine toolbar? too lazy to type google.com? or bookmark google and just type goo and click it? really?

You can go to firefox addons, and uninstall the yahoo toolbar.

And gimp did not mess up your computer if you got it from a reliable source, like the original site? http://www.gimp.org/

And usually most of the time, ANY free software, even adobe flash player, trys to install something like a toolbar or another program, dont just spam the next button when installing.|||That has nothing to do with GIMP - GIMP doesn't install anything other than GIMP and installing GIMP won't change your search engine in your browser. Most likely you installed a yahoo toolbar. Go to Control Panel, click programs, uninstall the yahoo tool bar. Or disable it in the Firefox add-ons.

Always make sure you install GIMP from the links provided at the official website: http://www.gimp.org
