Google Earth has gone crazy with drawn in roads?

I have had Google Earth on my computer for several years now. It seems to have gone nuts. Roads drawn in that do not exist, extensions of roads that do not exist. Very old images. Unfortunately this carries over to all Google maps, Mapqwest maps even some on Virtual Earth and USGS maps. Yes, on Yahoo maps too. And no place to request changes. Went looking for a better place. Heard of NASA World Wind. Don't bother downloading them! Not worth your time, unless you are really into weather maps. If you are looking for more up to date Ariel images, try http://maps.live.com. No downloading, just use them. So far they are the best I have found. Have you found up to date Ariels? Would you share that with us?|||Google Earth/Maps, Yahoo! Maps, MSN Live Maps, Mapquest, and Ask Maps get their aerial photos from different sources. My experience is that depending on the area it could be any one of them that has the most recent and/or detailed photos.

In the metropolitan areas these companies often specifically request that new aerial photos be taken. Outside of the metro areas many of the aerial photos were originally ordered by local governments, companies, or other organizations and the aerial suppliers are reselling these photos to the mapping services.

If you find an error in the map (not the aerial photo) then it can be reported to the site host. For instance, Yahoo! Maps errors can be reported by clicking on the Help link on the Maps page and navigating to the report page listed as a source link.|||Try to download the latest Google Earth... i was just looking at Brisbane and the photo was taken about march- April 2007. not so sure about Darwin|||Let me explain exactly LIKE IT IS!!! Because of Homeland Security NO SITE is going to give you Live pictures of anything. It is because terrorists use the Internet too.
