What was the weather like 50 years ago?

I Need a paragraph talking about what weather was like 50 years ago. I can not find information on google or anything so please answer my question.|||They were was way more snow because of now there is globol worming and all that stuff.|||well i am 66 and when i was a kid we had more snow then we have now a days the summer was about the same hope this helped|||In this area we used to get much more snow than we do now. It is also warmer overall here compared to 50 years ago.
